Commissions

What’s a commission? What’s the cost? How do I get a quote?

A commission is when you order the production of something unique to you.  This could be a portrait of you or a member of your family, a pet or a much loved character, it could be something very personal for you or a gift for a loved one.

The cost will be completely dependent on the nature of the commission - do you want digital, pencil, ink or charcoal and how many people/pets/characters do you want in the image. These factors will determine how long it will take and all contribute to the final cost

If you have an idea for a commission and would like to find out more without obligation then feel free to drop us a line via artninetwo@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can to discuss your requirements.

In 2018 between us we embarked on a number of commissions. When we take on a commission we will always discuss with the client the cost, what they want and what they envisage the finished product to look like, to secure the commission we often ask for a small deposit (which is subtracted from the final cost). We always send ‘in progress’ updates to the client to ensure it’s heading in the direction they anticipated and also to let them know that it’s in production. Once completed, we’ll send them a watermarked image of the final product and once the client is happy we ask for full payment and then carefully package up the commissions for transportation.
